When Top Rank Promoter Bob Arum came into the Philippines to support Manny Pacquiao for his candidacy, he promised himself to not talk about boxing, the sports itself and about Floyd Mayweather and the supposed to be fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather.

But when he arrived in the Philippines, the media asked him a lot of questions that Arum could not even resist to not talk about… his tongue slipped and he gave in into temptation saying that the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight is is going to be alive someway somehow. Hopes are still there that the fight would still resume and would follow through after the lopsided match win of Floyd Mayweather against Sugar Shane Mosley last May 1, 2010.

Bob Arum said that the lucrative fight of the two best boxers in the world is just too big to be ignored and to be left in the imaginations of millions of fans. Arum said that it was a fight that has got to happen in one way or another.

So, boxing fans, Mayweather fans, Pacquiao fans, its still never too late, there is still hope that the Pacquiao vs Mayweather bout would happen sometime in the near future… who knows, the bout might happen even before the year 2010 ends.
